Description

Valentine’s Day Oreo Pops are a delightful and easy-to-make treat, perfect for sharing with loved ones. These festive pops feature Oreo cookies dipped in white chocolate and decorated with colorful sprinkles, making them an ideal sweet for Valentine’s Day celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Double Stuf Oreo cookies
  • 12 lollipop sticks
  • 12 ounces white chocolate or candy melts
  • Assorted Valentine’s Day sprinkles

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oreos: Gently twist each Oreo cookie to separate the halves.
  • Insert the Sticks: Melt a small amount of white chocolate. Dip the tip of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and press it into the cream filling of one half of the Oreo. Place the other half back on top, pressing gently to secure. Repeat for all cookies.
  • Chill: Place the assembled Oreo pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 10 minutes to set.
  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  • Dip the Pops: Dip each Oreo pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  • Decorate: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the pops with your chosen Valentine’s Day sprinkles.
  • Set: Place the decorated pops back on the parchment-lined sheet and let them sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

  • For variety, consider using different flavors of Oreo cookies or colored candy melts.
  • Ensure the chocolate coating is smooth by stirring thoroughly after melting.
  • These treats can be packaged individually in cellophane bags tied with ribbons for gifting.
