- For the Brownies:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- For the Peanut Butter Swirl:
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- 1. Prep & Preheat:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- 2. Make the Brownie Batter:
- 2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- 3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.
- 4. In another bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- 5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- 3. Make the Peanut Butter Swirl:
- 6. In a separate bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- 4. Assemble & Bake:
- 7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
- 8. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter mixture over the batter. Use a knife to swirl it into the brownies.
- 9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 10. Let cool before slicing. Enjoy!
Notes
- For extra peanut butter flavor, add peanut butter chips to the batter.
- For a fudgier texture, slightly underbake the brownies and let them cool completely before cutting.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
