Description

This Ultimate Deluxe Stromboli is packed with gooey cheese, savory meats, and fresh vegetables, all wrapped in a golden, crispy crust. It’s perfect for game day, a family dinner, or any time you’re craving something cheesy, meaty, and delicious!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup ham slices
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for brushing)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, about 12×16 inches.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch around the edges.
  4. Layer on the mozzarella, provolone, pepperoni, sausage, ham, bell peppers, red onion, and black olives.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly over the filling.
  6. Carefully roll the dough lengthwise into a tight log. Pinch the edges to seal and tuck the ends under.
  7. Place the roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with egg wash and optionally drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Cut 3-4 small slits on top to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes, slice, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Swap out any meat for a veggie version if you prefer a vegetarian stromboli.
  • Serve with extra pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.
  • You can make this ahead and freeze it before baking for a quick meal later.
