Description

This festive pull-apart Christmas Tree Pizza is filled with gooey mozzarella cheese and topped with a savory herb butter, making it an irresistible treat for both kids and adults


Ingredients

 

  • Topping:

    • 1 egg, whisked with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash) Delish

    • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese

    • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Prepare the Dough Balls:

    • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    • On a floured surface, divide the pizza dough into two equal pieces. Stretch and roll each piece into a long rectangle, then cut each rectangle into approximately 2-inch squares, yielding about 33 squares in total.Delish

    • Wrap each dough square around a piece of mozzarella, ensuring it is tightly sealed to prevent cheese leakage.Delish

  • Assemble the Christmas Tree:

    • Place the cheese-filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, arranging them in the shape of a Christmas tree. Start with a row of six balls at the base, then five above it, continuing up to one ball at the top. The balls should be touching each other.

    • Brush the assembled dough balls with the egg wash to give them a golden, shiny finish when baked.

  • Bake:

    • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the dough balls are golden brown.Delish
