- 1 cup cooked white rice

- 1 tablespoon butter
For the Burrito Assembly:
- 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-sized)
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded three-cheese blend (cheddar, Monterey Jack, mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup crispy tortilla strips (or crushed tortilla chips)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
Instructions
Make the Seasoned Beef:
- Brown the beef – In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned.
- Add seasoning – Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Add water and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
Make the Seasoned Rice:
- Cook the rice – If not already cooked, prepare white rice according to package instructions.
- Season the rice – Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and butter. Mix well and set aside.
Assemble the Burritos:
- Warm the tortillas – Microwave tortillas for 10-15 seconds to make them more pliable.
- Layer the ingredients – Spread 2 tablespoons of nacho cheese in the center of each tortilla. Add 1/4 cup seasoned beef, 1/4 cup seasoned rice, shredded cheese, crispy tortilla strips, and 1 tablespoon sour cream.
- Fold & roll – Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a burrito.
- Heat (optional) – For a crispy exterior, heat the burritos in a dry skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown.
