Description

This Summer Fruit Salad is bright, refreshing, and packed with juicy fruits like strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, and pineapple. Tossed with a light, citrusy honey-lime dressing, it’s the perfect side dish for picnics, BBQs, or a healthy snack on a hot day. Simple to make, naturally sweet, and always a hit with both kids and adults!


Ingredients

For the Fruit Salad:

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks

  • 1 cup watermelon, cubed

  • 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced

  • 1 cup grapes, halved

  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented

  • 1 banana, sliced (optional)

For the Dressing:

 

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • 1 teaspoon lime zest

  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare all the fruit. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, lime zest, and poppy seeds (if using).

  3. Pour the dressing over the fruit and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.

  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

  5. Serve cold and enjoy!


Notes

  • Feel free to swap in other seasonal fruits like mango, raspberries, or peaches.

  • To keep bananas from browning, add them right before serving.

  • You can double the dressing if you prefer a more coated salad.
