Description

A refreshing twist on the classic lemon drop martini, this cocktail blends fresh strawberries, tart lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness for a beautifully balanced drink. Perfect for summer nights or special occasions!


Ingredients

  • 4 fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 2 oz vodka (citrus or plain)
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 oz triple sec (or Cointreau)
  • Ice
  • Sugar (for rimming the glass)
  • Lemon slice & strawberry (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glass:
  • Rub a lemon slice around the rim of a chilled martini glass.
  • Dip the rim in sugar to coat and set aside.
  • Muddle the Strawberries:
  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh strawberries until they release their juices.
  • Mix the Martini:
  • Add vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and triple sec to the shaker.
  • Fill with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain & Serve:
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared martini glass using a fine-mesh strainer to remove strawberry pulp.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and a strawberry on the rim.
