For the Chicken:
- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
For the Green Beans & Rice:
- 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups cooked white or brown rice

Prepare the Chicken:
- In a bowl, toss the chicken with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each piece in the beaten egg.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and crispy, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce:
- In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Add the cornstarch slurry and stir until thickened (about 1-2 minutes).

Cook the Green Beans:
- In a separate pan, heat 1 teaspoon oil over medium heat.
- Add green beans and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.

Combine and Serve:
- Return the chicken to the pan with the sauce. Stir to coat.
- Serve over cooked rice with green beans on the side.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!

- Substitute chicken thighs for a juicier texture.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Use low-sodium soy sauce to reduce salt.
