Description

These Savory Rotel Sausage & Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls are a warm, cheesy, flavor-packed appetizer perfect for parties, game day, or quick snacks. With spicy sausage, zesty Rotel tomatoes, and creamy cheese all wrapped in buttery crescent dough, they disappear fast!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (hot or mild)

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, well drained

  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

Preheat oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.

Mix filling: In a large bowl, combine cooked sausage, cream cheese, and drained Rotel. Stir until well mixed.

Prepare rolls: Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon a generous tablespoon of filling onto the wide end of each triangle, then roll up and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Bake: Bake for 12–14 minutes, or until golden brown.

Serve: Let cool slightly and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle a little shredded cheese inside before rolling.

  • Make mini versions with crescent roll sheets cut smaller for appetizers.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
