- 1 pound ground breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for added flavor)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the sausage and stir until fully combined and creamy. Season with garlic powder and black pepper if desired.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage-cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end, rolling towards the tip. Place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
