Description

These Sausage Cream Cheese Crescents are the perfect savory appetizer or snack. Made with flaky crescent rolls, creamy cheese, and flavorful sausage, they’re quick to prepare and always a crowd favorite. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or game-day gatherings!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  • Add the softened cream cheese to the sausage and stir until fully combined and creamy. Season with garlic powder and black pepper if desired.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Place a spoonful of the sausage-cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll up each crescent starting from the wide end, rolling towards the tip. Place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can add shredded cheddar cheese for an extra cheesy twist.
  • Substitute hot sausage if you prefer more spice.
  • Great served with a dipping sauce like ranch or spicy mustard.
