- 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional, for extra depth)

Instructions
- Caramelize the Onions:
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes until golden and caramelized.
- Stir in balsamic vinegar (if using) and set aside.
- Roast the Green Beans:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss green beans with 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Spread in an even layer and roast for 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
- Combine & Serve:
- Toss roasted green beans with caramelized onions and transfer to a serving dish.
