Description

Adorable, no-bake treats made with crispy rice cereal and marshmallows, shaped into nests and filled with candy eggs—perfect for Easter or springtime fun!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 (10-oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Cooking spray or butter, for greasing
  • 1 cup chocolate eggs (Cadbury Mini Eggs, M&M’s, or jelly beans)

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large pot over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir constantly until fully melted.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract (if using).
  • Gently fold in Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
  • Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
  • Scoop a small amount of the mixture into each muffin cup, pressing gently in the center to create a nest shape. (Use the back of a spoon or greased fingers.)
  • Let the nests cool and set for about 30 minutes.

  • Once firm, remove from the muffin tin and fill each nest with chocolate eggs or jelly beans.

Notes

  • For chocolate nests, stir ½ cup melted chocolate chips into the marshmallow mixture.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

  • Instead of a muffin tin, shape the nests by hand on parchment paper
