- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup whole milk (or buttermilk for extra tenderness)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and sugar.

Add Cheese & Wet Ingredients
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour in the milk and melted butter, then gently mix until just combined. (Do not overmix; the dough should be sticky.)

- Using a spoon or ice cream scoop, drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

Make Garlic Butter Topping
- While the biscuits bake, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a small bowl.
