Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup pulled pork, cooked
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix pulled pork with BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 9 squares.
  • Spoon pulled pork mixture into the center of each square and top with shredded cheese.
  • Fold pastry over into a triangle or rectangle and press edges to seal with a fork.
  • Brush with egg wash (egg + 1 tbsp water) for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until puff pastry is golden and crispy.
  • Serve warm with extra BBQ sauce or ranch for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack for extra spice.
  • Use store-bought pulled pork for a quick and easy version.
  • Add pickled jalapeños inside for a tangy kick!
