Description

⭐ Crispy, golden puff pastry filled with creamy Nutella and twisted into a fun, delicious treat!


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup Nutella (or any chocolate-hazelnut spread)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

Preheat & Prep:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Spread the Nutella:

  • Roll out the puff pastry slightly and spread an even layer of Nutella over half of it.
  • Fold the other half over the Nutella and gently press down.

3️⃣ Cut & Twist:

  • Cut the pastry into ½-inch strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
  • Twist each strip a few times and place on the baking sheet.

4️⃣ Brush with Egg Wash:

  • In a small bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
  • Brush the twists lightly with the egg wash for a golden finish.

5️⃣ Bake:

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!

  • Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Swap Nutella for peanut butter, Biscoff, or fruit jam for a twist!
  • Add chopped hazelnuts or mini chocolate chips for extra crunch.
