- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup Nutella (or any chocolate-hazelnut spread)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
Preheat & Prep:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Spread the Nutella:
- Roll out the puff pastry slightly and spread an even layer of Nutella over half of it.
- Fold the other half over the Nutella and gently press down.
3️⃣ Cut & Twist:
- Cut the pastry into ½-inch strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Twist each strip a few times and place on the baking sheet.
4️⃣ Brush with Egg Wash:
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg and milk together.
- Brush the twists lightly with the egg wash for a golden finish.
5️⃣ Bake:
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
- Swap Nutella for peanut butter, Biscoff, or fruit jam for a twist!
