- 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar

- 1 (16 oz) package frozen potstickers (pork, chicken, or veggie)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 cups baby spinach or napa cabbage, chopped
- 4 green onions, sliced (plus extra for garnish)
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
- Red pepper flakes, to taste (optional, for heat)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh cilantro or sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Sauté the Aromatics:
Heat the sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute). - Build the Broth:
Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, and toasted sesame oil.
Bring the broth to a gentle boil. - Cook the Potstickers:
Carefully add the frozen potstickers to the simmering broth.
Reduce heat to medium-low and cook uncovered for 5–7 minutes, or until the potstickers are heated through and tender. - Add the Veggies:
Stir in the shredded carrots, mushrooms (if using), and green onions. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
Add the spinach or napa cabbage and cook for an additional minute, just until wilted. - Season & Serve:
Taste the broth and adjust with more soy sauce, salt, pepper, or red pepper flakes as desired.
Ladle the soup into bowls and garnish with extra green onions, cilantro, or sesame seeds.
