- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–25 slices of pepperoni (or your favorite pizza toppings)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Prepare the rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (keep them connected). Place the bottom half in the prepared dish.
- Layer the fillings: Spread half of the marinara sauce over the rolls. Sprinkle half of the cheese, then add the pepperoni slices. Top with the remaining cheese and the rest of the sauce.
- Add the top layer: Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Make the garlic butter topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Variations: Try adding cooked sausage, mushrooms, or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Make it vegetarian: Skip the pepperoni and add more veggies.
- Dipping sauce: Serve with extra marinara or ranch dressing for dipping.
