This Pineapple Margarita is a tropical twist on the classic cocktail, featuring sweet pineapple juice, tangy lime, and smooth tequila. It’s refreshing, easy to make, and perfect for sipping by the pool or pairing with your favorite Mexican dishes!

- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1 oz triple sec (or Cointreau)
- 3 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- ½ oz simple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
- Ice
- Tajín or salt, for rimming the glass
- Pineapple wedges & lime slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Rim the glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass, then dip in Tajín or salt.
- Mix the drink: In a shaker, add tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice. Shake well for 15-20 seconds.
- Serve: Fill the rimmed glass with fresh ice and strain the margarita over it.
- Garnish & enjoy: Add a pineapple wedge and a lime slice for a tropical touch. Serve immediately!
Notes
- Make it spicy by adding 1-2 slices of jalapeño to the shaker.
- For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with a cup of ice until smooth.
- Swap mezcal for tequila for a smoky twist!
