This homemade peach iced tea is the perfect blend of sweet, fruity, and refreshing flavors. Made with fresh peaches, brewed tea, and a hint of honey or sugar, it’s a summer favorite that’s easy to make and better than store-bought!

- For the Peach Syrup:
- 3 ripe peaches, sliced (plus extra for garnish)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or honey)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- For the Tea:
- 4–5 black tea bags (or green tea for a lighter taste)
- 4 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- For Garnish (Optional):
- Fresh peach slices
- Lemon wedges
- Fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- 1. Make the Peach Syrup:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sliced peaches, sugar, and water.
- Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peaches soften.
- Mash the peaches slightly and stir in lemon juice.
- Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing to extract juice. Let cool.
- 2. Brew the Tea:
- In a large heatproof pitcher, steep tea bags in 4 cups of boiling water for 5–7 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and stir in 2 cups cold water. Let cool.
- 3. Combine & Serve:
- Stir the peach syrup into the cooled tea. Adjust sweetness if needed.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour in the peach iced tea.
- Garnish with peach slices, lemon wedges, or mint leaves.
- 4. Enjoy!
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Notes
- Less sugar? Reduce sugar to ¼ cup or use a sugar substitute.
- Want a fizzy version? Add sparkling water before serving.
- Make it boozy! Add a splash of bourbon or peach schnapps for an adult twist.
- No fresh peaches? Use ½ cup peach preserves instead of peach syrup.
