Description

These homemade peanut clusters are rich, crunchy, and made with just a few simple ingredients! Melted chocolate coats salty peanuts for an irresistible sweet and salty combination. They’re incredibly easy to make in the microwave, stovetop, or slow cooker, and they set up perfectly for a quick treat!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or vegetable shortening (for smooth melting)
  • 2 cups salted peanuts (or unsalted, if preferred)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Microwave Method:
  • Melt the Chocolate:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine semisweet chocolate, white chocolate (if using), and coconut oil.
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Mix & Drop:
  • Stir in the peanuts until fully coated in the chocolate mixture.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Set & Serve:
  • Sprinkle with sea salt (if using). Let them set at room temperature for 1–2 hours or refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
  • Enjoy or store in an airtight container!
  • Slow Cooker Method:
  • Layer Ingredients: Place chocolate, white chocolate, and peanuts in a slow cooker.
  • Cook on LOW for 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let set.

Notes

  • Chocolate Choices: Use dark, milk, white, or a combination for different flavors!
  • Nut Variations: Try almonds, cashews, or pecans instead of peanuts.
  • Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or refrigerate for longer freshness.
  • Freezing: Freeze in a sealed bag for up to 3 months.
