Description

This easy peanut butter fudge is rich, creamy, and melts in your mouth! Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s the perfect treat for the holidays or any time you need a sweet fix. No candy thermometer required!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Let it boil for 2 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • In a large mixing bowl, sift the powdered sugar. Pour the hot peanut butter mixture over the powdered sugar and mix until fully combined and smooth.

  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.

  • Let it cool at room temperature for about an hour, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm.

  • Cut into small squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter for a smooth texture, but chunky peanut butter can be used for a bit of crunch.

  • Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  • For a chocolate peanut butter fudge, swirl in melted chocolate before setting.
