Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
- Cream Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
- Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Form Dough Balls: Shape the dough into 1-inch balls. Place each ball into an ungreased mini muffin tin cavity.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Insert Peanut Butter Cups: Immediately upon removing the cookies from the oven, press a miniature peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie. The edges of the cookie should form around the candy.
