Description

This Oreo Dirt Cake is a rich, no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreos and a creamy, pudding-based filling. It’s fun, easy, and perfect for parties or potlucks—plus, you can decorate it with gummy worms for a classic “dirt” look!

Ingredients

Instructions

Step 1: Crush the Oreos
  1. Using a food processor or rolling pin, crush all the Oreos into fine crumbs.
  2. Set aside 1 cup of crushed Oreos for the topping.
  3. Mix the remaining crumbs with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish.
Step 2: Make the Creamy Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix, milk, and vanilla extract until thickened.
  3. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Gently fold in whipped topping until well combined.
Step 3: Assemble the Dirt Cake
  1. Spread the cream filling evenly over the Oreo crust.
  2. Sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreos evenly on top to create the “dirt” layer.
  3. Decorate with gummy worms for a fun touch!
Step 4: Chill & Serve
  1. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight for best results).
  2. Scoop and serve chilled!

Notes

  • Chocolate Lover’s Version? Use chocolate pudding instead of vanilla.
  • Want a crunch? Add a layer of chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips.
  • Make it spooky! Use edible candy eyeballs for a Halloween version.
  • Gluten-free? Use gluten-free Oreos.
