Description

This Orange Banana Smoothie is a refreshing and creamy drink packed with vitamin C, potassium, and natural sweetness. Made with fresh oranges, bananas, and yogurt, it’s the perfect way to start your day or enjoy as an afternoon pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 large oranges (peeled and segmented)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or regular yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (fresh or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients – Peel and segment the oranges, and slice the banana.
  2. Blend Everything – Add all ingredients to a blender.
  3. Blend Until Smooth – Blend on high for 30-45 seconds, or until creamy and smooth.
  4. Taste and Adjust – Add more honey if needed for sweetness or more ice for a thicker texture.
  5. Serve & Enjoy – Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Use frozen banana for an extra creamy texture.
  • Substitute yogurt with coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
  • Add a handful of spinach for a nutrient boost.

  • A scoop of protein powder can make it a great post-workout smoothie.
