Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or crushed Oreos for a chocolatey twist)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp sugar (skip if using Oreos)

For the Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

For the Chocolate Ganache:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Other Layers & Toppings:

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts (or pecans/walnuts)
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Drizzle of melted peanut butter or extra chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Mix graham cracker crumbs (or Oreos) with melted butter and sugar.
    • Press into a 9-inch pie dish and bake for 8–10 minutes (skip baking if using Oreos). Let cool completely.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Filling:
    • Beat peanut butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
    • In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture. Spread evenly over the crust.
  3. Add the Banana Layer:
    • Arrange banana slices over the peanut butter filling.
  4. Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:
    • Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until warm (but not boiling).
    • Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
    • Mix in butter for extra shine and pour over the bananas.
  5. Chill & Serve:
    • Refrigerate the pie for at least 3 hours (or overnight) until set.
    • Before serving, top with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and a drizzle of melted peanut butter or chocolate.

Notes

  • Want an extra crunch? Add a layer of crushed peanuts between the banana and peanut butter filling.
  • Prefer a no-bake crust? Freeze the Oreo crust instead of baking.
  • Use dark chocolate for a richer flavor or milk chocolate for a sweeter touch.
