Description

These No Bake Brownie Bites are rich, fudgy, and packed with chocolate flavor—without needing an oven! Made with simple ingredients like dates, nuts, cocoa powder, and a touch of maple syrup, they’re naturally sweetened and totally delicious. Perfect for a quick snack, dessert, or even a healthy energy boost!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup pitted dates (softened if needed)
  • 1 cup walnuts (or almonds)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon water (if needed)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Blend the nuts – In a food processor, blend the walnuts until they form a fine crumb.
  • Add remaining ingredients – Add dates, cocoa powder, vanilla, maple syrup, and salt. Blend until a sticky dough forms. If the mixture is too dry, add a little water, one teaspoon at a time.
  • Fold in chocolate chips – If using, stir in mini chocolate chips by hand.
  • Roll into balls – Scoop out small portions and roll into bite-sized balls.
  • Chill & enjoy – Place in the fridge for at least 15 minutes to set. Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes and drain before using.
  • Swap walnuts for almonds, pecans, or cashews for a different flavor.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon or espresso powder for extra depth.
