For the Base
- 1 sleeve (about 9) graham crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup honey or corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
For the Topping
- 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Prepare the Pan
- Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Press the crushed graham crackers evenly into the bottom of the pan.

Make the Toffee Layer
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, brown sugar, honey (or corn syrup), and salt.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and cook for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

Assemble the Layers
- Pour the hot toffee mixture over the graham cracker base and spread evenly.
- Let sit for about 5 minutes until slightly set.

Melt the Chocolate
- Sprinkle chocolate chips over the warm toffee layer.
- Let sit for 2-3 minutes, then spread evenly with a spatula.

- Sprinkle toasted almonds over the melted chocolate.
- Lightly press them down so they stick.

- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
