Description

These Moose Farts are a classic Newfoundland sweet treat! Made with graham crackers, coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate, these no-bake bites are chewy, rich, and super easy to make. They’re perfect for holidays, parties, or whenever you need a quick dessert fix!


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder or extra shredded coconut (for rolling)

Instructions

1. Mix the Ingredients

  1. In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, shredded coconut, chocolate chips, pecans (if using), and salt.
  2. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until everything is well combined.

2. Shape the Bites

  1. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll into small balls.
  2. Roll each ball in cocoa powder or shredded coconut for coating.

3. Chill & Serve

  1. Place the moose farts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy!

Notes

  • No Chocolate Version: Skip the chocolate chips for a more traditional version.
  • Nut-Free Option: Leave out the pecans or replace them with extra coconut.
