Scale
- 1 package (15.25 oz) Mint Oreo cookies (about 36 Oreos)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz semi-sweet or white chocolate, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional, for extra mint flavor)
- Green sprinkles or crushed Oreos (for garnish)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos – In a food processor, blend the Mint Oreos until they become fine crumbs. (Or crush them in a ziplock bag with a rolling pin.)
- Mix with cream cheese – In a large bowl, mix the Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese until well combined. Stir in peppermint extract if using.
- Shape the balls – Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or freeze for 15 minutes, until firm.
- Dip in chocolate – Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate using a fork, then place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
- Decorate – Sprinkle with green sprinkles or crushed Oreos before the chocolate sets.
- Set & serve – Let the Oreo balls set at room temperature or chill in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.
Notes
- Storage: Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
- Variations: Use dark chocolate, white chocolate, or green candy melts for different looks!
- No food processor? Just crush the Oreos in a sealed plastic bag with a rolling pin.
