This homemade version of McDonald’s Crispy Chicken Ranch Snack Wrap is crispy, flavorful, and super easy to make. Perfect for a quick lunch or snack!

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 small flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp ranch dressing
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken:
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with buttermilk, and one with panko mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne.
- Dip each chicken strip in flour, then buttermilk, then panko, coating well.
- Cook the chicken:
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Assemble the wrap:
- Warm the tortillas for a few seconds to make them pliable.
- Place a crispy chicken strip on each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, and a drizzle of ranch dressing.
- Fold the tortilla over and secure with a toothpick if needed.
- Serve immediately with extra ranch for dipping!
Notes
- Air Fryer Option: Cook breaded chicken at 400°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Baked Option: Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 18-20 minutes until crispy.
- Make it spicy: Use spicy ranch or add hot sauce to the buttermilk for a kick.
