Ingredients
-
2 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
-
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
-
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
-
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries, drained and patted dry
-
Optional: pink or red food coloring
Instructions
Prep your pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil. Lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Melt the chocolate: In a saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Flavor and color: Remove from heat. Stir in almond extract. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to get a pink hue.
Add cherries: Gently fold in the chopped, dried maraschino cherries.
Chill the fudge: Pour the mixture into your prepared pan and spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm.
Slice and serve: Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment, slice into squares, and enjoy!
