Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:
  1. In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
Cook the Chicken:
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter.
  2. Add the chicken in a single layer and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Stir occasionally, cooking until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Serve & Enjoy!

  1. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

Swap chicken breast for boneless thighs for extra juiciness.

Add a splash of white wine while cooking for extra flavor.
