- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
- Margarita
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 3/4 oz lavender simple syrup
- 1/2 oz orange liqueur (Triple Sec, Cointreau, or Grand Marnier)
- Ice
- Salt or sugar for rimming the glass (optional)
- Lime wedge & dried lavender for garnish
Instructions
- Make the Lavender Simple Syrup
- In a small saucepan, heat water and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Stir in dried lavender and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain out the lavender and let the syrup cool completely.
- Prepare the Glass
- Rim a margarita glass with lime juice, then dip in salt or sugar, depending on your preference.
- Mix the Margarita
- In a shaker, add tequila, lime juice, lavender simple syrup, and orange liqueur with ice.
- Shake well for about 15 seconds until chilled.
- Serve & Garnish
- Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprinkle of dried lavender.

- Use culinary-grade lavender to avoid a soapy taste.
