Description

These Jello Easter Eggs are a fun, wobbly, and colorful treat that kids and adults will love! Made with fruity gelatin and a touch of creamy goodness, they’re the perfect festive addition to your Easter dessert table. Use different flavors for a rainbow effect or mix in yogurt for a swirled, pastel look!

Ingredients

Units Scale

2 small boxes (3 oz each) Jello (any flavors—strawberry, lemon, lime, etc.)

2 cups boiling water

1/2 cup cold water

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt or sweetened condensed milk (optional, for a creamy pastel effect)

Cooking spray (for molds)

Instructions

  • Prepare the molds:

    • Lightly grease the inside of each plastic egg mold with cooking spray and set aside.
  • Mix the Jello:

    • In a bowl, dissolve 1 box of Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
    • Stir in ¼ cup cold water (for a clear version) or ¼ cup vanilla yogurt (for a creamy version).
  • Fill the molds:

    • Use a small funnel or syringe to carefully pour the Jello mixture into each egg mold.
    • Close the molds tightly and place them upright in a small container or egg carton for stability.
  • Chill & set:

    • Refrigerate for 3-4 hours, or until firm.

  • Unmold & serve:

    • Carefully open the egg molds and gently release the Jello eggs.
    • Serve chilled and enjoy

Notes

  • Multi-Color Layers: Pour one color halfway, chill until set, then add a second color for a layered effect.
  • Creamy Swirls: Mix half of the Jello with yogurt and swirl it into the clear Jello for a marbled look.
  • No Egg Molds? Use silicone molds or small cups for a similar effect.
