Description

This creamy and smoky Hot Smoked Gouda Bacon Dip is packed with melty cheese, crispy bacon, and a touch of spice. It’s the perfect party appetizer, served warm with crackers, bread, or veggies. Easy to make and loaded with flavor, it’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!


Ingredients

  • 8 oz smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for extra meltiness)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Stir in the shredded smoked Gouda, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), and half of the bacon. Mix well.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining bacon and chopped green onions on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
  • Serve warm with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh veggies

Notes

  • For extra smokiness, add a dash of liquid smoke or chipotle powder.
  • You can make this dip ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days before baking.
  • Want it spicier? Add diced jalapeños or a pinch of red pepper flakes.
