Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 12 oz spaghetti (or fettuccine)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or butter)
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter option)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Make the Meatballs

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, ginger, and onion powder until well combined.
  2. Roll into 1-inch meatballs (about 18-20 meatballs).

2. Cook the Meatballs

  1. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add meatballs and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through (165°F internal temp).
  3. Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce

  1. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Stir in honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Simmer for 2 minutes, then add the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens (about 1 minute).

4. Coat the Meatballs & Serve

  1. Return the meatballs to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  2. Simmer for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  3. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  4. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables!

Notes

  • Make it Spicier: Add 1 tsp sriracha or more red pepper flakes.
  • Gluten-Free Option: Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and tamari instead of soy sauce.
  • Meal Prep: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 3 months.
