Description

This Homemade Crunchwrap Supreme is a crispy, cheesy, and fully loaded wrap packed with seasoned beef, nacho cheese, a crunchy tostada, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream. It’s the perfect Taco Bell copycat recipe that you can make right at home—customizable and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (if needed)
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)

For Assembling:

  • 5 large (burrito-size) flour tortillas
  • 5 small crunchy tostada shells (or substitute with tortilla chips)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • Cooking spray or butter for crisping

Instructions

  • Cook the beef:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
    • Drain excess grease, then stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.
  • Warm the tortillas & cheese:

    • Heat the flour tortillas in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to make them more pliable.
    • If needed, warm the nacho cheese sauce until smooth.
  • Assemble the Crunchwrap:

    • Lay a large flour tortilla flat.
    • In the center, spread 2 tbsp nacho cheese sauce.
    • Add ¼ cup of seasoned beef on top.
    • Place a tostada shell over the beef.
    • Spread 1 tbsp sour cream over the tostada.
    • Sprinkle with lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  • Fold the Crunchwrap:

    • Fold the edges of the tortilla up and over the filling, working in a circular motion until fully wrapped.
    • If needed, use a small tortilla piece to cover any gaps.
  • Crisp it up:

    • Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
    • Place the Crunchwrap seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
    • Flip and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.

  • Serve & enjoy!

    • Cut in half and serve warm with extra nacho cheese, salsa, or guacamole!

Notes

  • Customize It! Swap beef for chicken, beans, or ground turkey.
  • Spicy Kick: Add jalapeños or hot sauce inside for extra heat.
  • Make It Vegetarian: Use black beans or refried beans instead of meat.

  • Meal Prep Tip: Cook the beef ahead of time and store in the fridge for quick assembly!
