- 36 OREO cookies (classic or flavored, about 3 cups crushed)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz white chocolate or candy melts
- Red or pink candy melts (for decoration)
- Heart-shaped sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the OREOs: Place OREOs in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Reserve about 1 tablespoon of crumbs for garnish if desired.
- Mix with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine the OREO crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully incorporated and a dough-like consistency forms.
- Shape into Hearts: Roll small portions of the dough into balls, then flatten slightly and shape into hearts using your hands or a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill: Refrigerate the hearts for at least 20-30 minutes or until firm.
- Coat with Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions. Dip each heart into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place back on the parchment paper.
- Decorate: Melt the red or pink candy melts and drizzle over the hearts. Add sprinkles or a sprinkle of reserved OREO crumbs if desired.
- Set: Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
