Description

These Heart OREO Balls are a delightful no-bake treat perfect for Valentine’s Day or whenever you want to share a little love. Made with just a handful of ingredients, these bite-sized desserts are shaped like hearts, coated in chocolate, and decorated for extra charm. They’re easy to make and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 36 OREO cookies (classic or flavored, about 3 cups crushed)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white chocolate or candy melts
  • Red or pink candy melts (for decoration)
  • Heart-shaped sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the OREOs: Place OREOs in a food processor and pulse until they form fine crumbs. Reserve about 1 tablespoon of crumbs for garnish if desired.
  2. Mix with Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine the OREO crumbs and softened cream cheese. Mix until fully incorporated and a dough-like consistency forms.
  3. Shape into Hearts: Roll small portions of the dough into balls, then flatten slightly and shape into hearts using your hands or a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the hearts for at least 20-30 minutes or until firm.
  5. Coat with Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or candy melts according to package instructions. Dip each heart into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place back on the parchment paper.
  6. Decorate: Melt the red or pink candy melts and drizzle over the hearts. Add sprinkles or a sprinkle of reserved OREO crumbs if desired.
  7. Set: Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
  8. Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • You can use any flavor of OREOs to customize the taste.
  • For smoother dipping, use a fork or dipping tool and tap off excess chocolate gently.
  • Use a small piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner cut off for clean drizzle designs.
