Description

This Dill Pickle Cottage Cheese Ranch is a high-protein, creamy, and tangy dressing or dip that’s perfect for salads, veggies, or sandwiches. Made with blended cottage cheese, fresh herbs, and zesty pickles, it’s a healthy twist on classic ranch!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240g) cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) dill pickle juice
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt (for extra creaminess, optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill (or 1 tbsp fresh dill)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • 12 tbsp water (for thinning, if needed)

Instructions

Step 1: Blend

  1. In a blender or food processor, blend cottage cheese, pickle juice, Greek yogurt, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, salt, pepper, and lemon juice until smooth.
  2. Add chopped pickles and pulse for a few seconds to keep some texture.

Step 2: Adjust Consistency

  1. If too thick, add 1-2 tbsp water and blend again until desired consistency is reached.

Step 3: Serve & Store

  1. Transfer to a bowl and chill for 10-15 minutes to let flavors meld.
  2. Serve as a dip, dressing, or spread!

Notes

  • Make It Spicier: Add ¼ tsp cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
