- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
For the Topping (Optional, for Crispy Crunch!):
- 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or cornflakes
- 2 tbsp melted butter

Step 1: Preheat & Prep
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Make the Casserole Mix
- In a large bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
- Fold in thawed hash browns until evenly coated.
Step 3: Assemble the Casserole
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- If using the crunchy topping, mix the crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
Step 4: Bake
- Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
