Instructions
Make the Hamburger Gravy:
- Brown the Beef – In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Sauté Aromatics – Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until soft and fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.
- Make the Roux – Stir in butter until melted, then sprinkle in the flour. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture turns golden.
- Add Liquids – Gradually whisk in beef broth, stirring to prevent lumps. Let the mixture simmer until slightly thickened.
- Finish the Gravy – Stir in heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Let it simmer for 3–5 minutes until creamy. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Prepare the Garlic Chive Noodles:
- Cook the Noodles – Boil egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Garlic – In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Toss the Noodles – Add cooked noodles to the pan, tossing to coat in the garlic butter. Stir in chopped chives, salt, and black pepper.
