- 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix Ingredients – In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and spices. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the Loaf – Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into a loaf. Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top for extra flavor.
- Bake – Place in the oven and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest & Serve – Let the meatloaf rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes or a side of roasted vegetables.
Notes
- You can substitute oats for breadcrumbs for a gluten-free option.
- Add a little grated zucchini or carrot for extra moisture and nutrition.
