Description

This simple summer dish is a perfect blend of sweet and savory. Juicy grilled nectarines pair beautifully with creamy burrata cheese, a drizzle of honey, and fresh herbs. Serve it as an appetizer, side, or light dessert—it’s quick, easy, and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe nectarines, halved and pitted

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 8 oz burrata cheese

  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus more to taste)

  • Fresh basil or mint leaves, for garnish

  • Pinch of sea salt

  • Cracked black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: balsamic glaze for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Brush the cut sides of the nectarines lightly with olive oil.

  3. Place nectarines cut side down on the grill and cook for 3–5 minutes, until grill marks appear and the fruit is slightly softened.

  4. Remove from the grill and let cool slightly.

  5. Arrange grilled nectarines on a serving plate.

  6. Tear the burrata and place pieces over the nectarines.

  7. Drizzle with honey and a pinch of sea salt.

  8. Top with fresh herbs and cracked black pepper.

  9. If desired, drizzle with a little balsamic glaze. Serve immediately.


Notes

  • You can use peaches instead of nectarines.

  • For extra crunch, add toasted nuts like pistachios or almonds.

  • Burrata is best served at room temperature.
