Description

These grilled BBQ boneless chicken thighs are juicy, flavorful, and ready in just 30 minutes! Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or weekend cookout, they’re coated in your favorite barbecue sauce and grilled to perfection. No marinating required – just season, grill, and enjoy!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

 

  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)


Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).

  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.

  • In a large bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  • Place the chicken thighs on the grill and cook for 5–6 minutes on one side.

  • Flip the chicken and brush the top with barbecue sauce. Grill for another 5–6 minutes.

  • Flip again, brush the other side with more BBQ sauce, and cook for 2–3 more minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  • Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

 

  • Serve with extra BBQ sauce if desired.


Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the seasoning mix for 30 minutes before grilling.

  • Great with coleslaw, corn on the cob, or a side salad.

 

  • You can use bone-in thighs, just increase the cooking time accordingly.
