Description
This classic Green Jello Salad is a creamy, fruity, and refreshing side dish or dessert made with lime Jello, crushed pineapple, and whipped topping. It’s a favorite at holidays, potlucks, and family gatherings.
Ingredients

1 (6 oz) package lime Jello (or 2 small boxes)

1 cup boiling water

1 cup cold water

1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Optional: 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions

In a large bowl, dissolve the lime Jello in 1 cup of boiling water.

Stir in 1 cup of cold water and mix until combined.

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

Gradually add a little of the Jello mixture to the cream cheese, whisking until smooth and lump-free.

Stir in the drained crushed pineapple.

Fold in the whipped topping until evenly combined.

If using, mix in chopped nuts or marshmallows.

Pour the mixture into a serving dish or mold.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
