Instructions
- Preheat & Prepare:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease lightly.
- Mix Wet Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and molasses until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- Mix & Fold:
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Bake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely before slicing.
- Finish & Serve:
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted white chocolate for a festive touch.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!

- For Extra Fudgy Brownies: Slightly underbake them and let them set as they cool.
