- 3 large russet potatoes
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Prep the Potatoes:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and scrub the potatoes, then cut into thick wedges (about 8 wedges per potato).
2. Season the Fries:
- In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on the baking sheet.
3. Bake Until Crispy:
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
4. Add Garlic Butter & Parmesan:
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter and minced garlic.
- Once the fries are done, toss them in the garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
5. Serve & Enjoy:
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!
- Enjoy with ranch, ketchup, or garlic aioli.
Notes
Air Fryer Option: Cook at 400°F for 18-22 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Extra Crisp? Soak potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
Cheese Lover? Add extra Parmesan and broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
