These bite-sized cheeseburger bombs are filled with seasoned beef, gooey cheese, and wrapped in a flaky biscuit, then brushed with garlicky butter and Parmesan.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cubed cheese for extra gooeyness)

For the Dough:

  • 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

For the Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat & Prepare:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Make the Cheeseburger Filling:

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Add diced onions and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 1 more minute, then remove from heat.
  4. Let cool slightly, then mix in shredded cheddar cheese.

3. Assemble the Cheeseburger Bombs:

  1. Flatten each biscuit dough piece into a 4-inch circle.
  2. Spoon about 1 ½ tablespoons of the beef mixture into the center of each dough circle.
  3. Fold the edges of the dough up and pinch tightly to seal. Roll into a ball shape.
  4. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

4. Bake:

  1. Brush each dough ball with the beaten egg for a golden crust.
  2. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.

5. Add Garlic Parmesan Topping:

  1. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
  2. Brush over the warm cheeseburger bombs.
  3. Sprinkle with parsley (optional).

6. Serve & Enjoy:

  • Serve hot with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping!

Notes

  • Use pizza dough or crescent roll dough instead of biscuits.
  • Swap cheddar for mozzarella, pepper jack, or American cheese.
  • Add crispy bacon bits for extra flavor!
