- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for extra richness)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Season & Coat the Chicken
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Lightly coat each piece in flour, shaking off excess.
- 2. Sear the Chicken
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/75°C internal temp).
- Remove from the pan and set aside.
- 3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and Italian seasoning, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in lemon juice (if using) and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in butter for extra richness.
- 4. Finish & Serve
- Return the chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over the top.
- Simmer for 2 more minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley.
