Scale
- :
- 1 lb (450g) steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
Instructions
- :
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika (if using).
- Once the skillet is hot, add the steak cubes in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the steak bites back into the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter for 1-2 minutes to coat.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and squeeze in lemon juice for extra flavor (optional).
- Serve immediately with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or enjoy as an appetizer.
Notes
- :
- Ribeye steak is ideal for this recipe due to its tenderness and flavor, but sirloin or tenderloin work well too.
- For a touch of heat, add some red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
- These steak bites are great with a side salad or even as a topping for a baked potato!
